Project Gallery
Pishtaz office building experienced two completely different aspects of urban life at the same time. From the north side, which interacted with Mirdamad Street, it could see a view of chaos in urban construction out of the windows, and on the south side, it benefited from the largest green spaces in Tehran. Our definition for this project was as follows:
Minimal connection with the north and the creation of openness and logical connection with the south.
Although the south side of this building gave a unique beauty to the interior space, due to the angle of sunlight and the type of building used, it was necessary to manage the entry of light into the interior space.
In this project, our definition was that the two sides of the building should benefit from a unified identity, but according to the potential types of each direction, the number of openings in the facade should increase or decrease.
According to the location of the project and its use, our strategy was based on:
1) Using controlled natural light;
2) Creating balconies in the heart of the building to enjoy the outside view and create a space for people to interact;
3) Maintaining integrity in the used material and executive details.
