The main concept in the design of this project was to create a sense of belonging to a place using the form and shape of the house. For this creation, the starting point of this process was changed from plan to section. The section and its spatial relationship with the plan is not hidden from the audience and invites the audience to continuous exploration. The cross-section inherently expresses the layers that form it, here the layers that started from the cross-section have become the main shape of the space in the plan. In the design process, we named these layers nicknamed streets. The streets in this design are a metaphor for the alleys of the old markets, and here it helps to separate the space and create new perspectives for the audience.
In addition to the formal and spatial connection between the section and the plan of this building, one of its main features is attention to the human scale. Paying attention to human proportions has helped so that the space and its dimensions are not in conflict with humans, and in other words, it is completely in harmony with human dimensions and proportions, and this feature has helped this place to have a warm and pleasant sense of space.
The connection between the section and the plan in this project has helped in addition to having a spatial quality and variety of internal perspectives, it allows the consumer to use the internal surfaces in the most optimal way possible to display the products.
